St Joseph's goes to Salesian
College, Sunbury
Our students had a great day,
organised by the Maiocco House students at 'Rupertswood'. After feeding the
ducks and geese on the lake, the children collected eggs in the chook-house.
One of the Salesian boys, Chris Hendy knew how to 'hypnotise' a chook, so
the children were able to stroke
it while it remained motionless. Chris then woke it up by clapping his
hands.
At Food-Tech, smilie smartie cookies were baked, and on the famous 'Ashes
Oval' fun games were organised by the Salesian pupils, after which, everyone
was ready for the barbecue. Then home on the busses which were paid for by
the Maiocco Salesian students who brought along $5 each to sponsor the day
of friendship, bonding, exploration and fun.
